This barn beam mantel surround shown in oak has a center section were the surround mantel has the apperance that the bark has naturally fallen off providing a smooth surface that gives it character all its own. The rustic beam suround mantel has old world craftsmanship in every detail. Each rustic mantel surround is carefully and lovingly made. Our most rustic mantel is hand hewn (In olden times round logs were hand hewn with an adz to make a rectangular beam). This fireplace surround mantle is ideal for Old English or Spanish style architecture. Each firplace mantel has hand sculpted corners with rough textured ends. Mantel is shown in Minwax Golden Oak with a laquer finish.
